As my 50th birthday approaches in June 2012, it is my desire to bless others as God has richly blessed so many of us. I have chosen to honor this birthday with The Fabulous Fifty Project. With the combined efforts of my family and friends, I wish to raise $50,000 in order to give $10,000 to each of the five following non-profit organizations.

Good News Community Health Clinic: Their mission is to treat the whole person in community; addressing physical, mental, and spiritual needs with a multidisciplinary community health center that promotes healthy individuals and a healthy community, enabling these, to in turn help others. www.Goodnewschc.org

My Father’s House Community Shelter: A family shelter located in Gresham, OR. They provide a safe environment and a place families can stay together as they address their physical, emotional, and relational issues and need. My Father’s House takes no Government funding. www.familyshelter.org

Computer Lab: up to 12 computers plus printers are available to assist children in research & computer skills. Music School: private and group lessons are offered in piano, brass, guitar, choir, and creative arts www.salvationarmygresham.org

Rotary Club of Gresham: The Object of Rotary is to encourage and foster the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise. Service above self is the motto. I have been a member of the Gresham Rotary since 2004. The Gresham Rotary is part of the larger Rotary International which is leading the way in eradicating Polio throughout the world.

Gresham-Barlow Education Foundation: The foundation raises money through-out each year in order to give grants to the teachers and schools of the district in area’s that would otherwise not be funded. I personally been on the board for 15 years now and see what a huge difference we can make in our schools. www.gbefkids.org
